Minimum Thickness Analysis for Waste Rock Placed Over Spent Heap Leach Ore Material

This tech memo presents Tetra Tech's infiltration and seepageⁱ modeling associated with a waste rockⁱ cover over the proposed Heap Leachⁱ Facility for the Rosemont Cpper Project. The purpose of this modeling was to assess the minimum thickness of waste rock needed on top of the heap in order to minimize meteoric water from infiltrating into the spent oreⁱ.
