The purpose of this process memorandum is to provide a summary of the Forest Service (FS) coordination with U.S. military installations and organizations. This process memorandum covers two basic topics:

  • Involvement with the 162nd Fighter Wing of the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona; and
  • Coordination with Fort Huachuca and other mission partners in the Buffalo Soldier Electronic Testing Range (ETR) regarding potential disruption from mine operations.
