After reviewing the Preliminary Reclamation and Closure Plan (July 2012), the U.S. Forest Service (Forest) requested clarification regarding the revegetation approach, evaluation protocol, and performance measures to be used at the Rosemont Copper Project (Project). A meeting was held on-site (February 22, 2013) at which Forest personnel reiterated and elaborated upon their request for additional reclamation information that could be used in the Final Environmental Impact Statement. Specifically, the Forest was interested in the techniques Rosemont Copper Company (Rosemont) intended to use to measure revegetation performance and the criteria that would be used to determine compliance with applicable regulations.
